The Pirivena's syllabus spans from the basic to the fifth grade, oriental examination subjects and A-level subjects. It also features modern classrooms, including digital ones and an international library.
Upon completing their studies, the student monks are equipped with the knowledge and virtues necessary to perform a wide range of religious, spiritual, and social duties as well-rounded monks. Currently, this institution is home to student monks not only from various regions of Sri Lanka but also from foreign countries such as Nepal, India, China, and Bangladesh.
